Another University project was based on a production of
Candide,the story by Voltaire,
preformed by the Drama department
. . My character was a Parisian Courtesan. The dress was specifically meant to look sepia toned. The idea behind my characterisation of the dress was to think of the character as an ageing prostitute who has worn her dress for many years. The dress was once a beautiful gown but over the years had become worn and frayed, to try and make the gown more attractive the prostitute had added flowers and ribbons here and then.
