For my final project i decide to combine my love of the Elizabethan period with my love of embroidery. I wanted to create a dress that would push me to my limets and show of the skills i have.
I designed and made this dress myself. I was happy with the over all outcome of the dress except for the collar witch i think the dress looks better without The dress was made from a silk brocade and i hand stitched thosands of tiny pearl beads onto the fabric. The center pannel of the corset is a mixture of reverse applique and freehand machine embroidery.
